The projects of the Siberian State Industrial University and the Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev (participants of the REC "Kuzbass") are presented in the format of video reports at the international exhibition-fair of innovative developments "Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking". The event is part of the business program of the Industrial and Technological Forum, which takes place in Minsk (Republic of Belarus) from 6 to 9 April 2021.

Kuzbass scientists present 3 developments at the fair. SibGIU presents a surfacing flux of the NFP brand made of enriched slag crushed stone from the production of ferrosilicon manganese (designed for automatic arc surfacing of steel with flux) and a carbon fluorine-containing flux additive FD-UFS (used as an additive for welding structural low-carbon low-alloy steels). KuzSTU scientists talk about their research in the field of improving the operational capabilities of grinding tools, for these purposes, glass grids made of a new reinforcing material based on carbon fiber fibers were used.

According to the results of the business program, a catalog of innovative developments will be formed. Participation in such an event is one of the opportunities to find partners for the joint development or commercialization of projects of Kuzbass universities participating in the REC "Kuzbass".
