DSTU became a member of the research and production consortium "Intelligent agricultural Systems and carbon Engineering". The corresponding agreement was signed on February 19 at the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI". The association includes universities, research institutes and companies specializing in agricultural technologies.

Participants of the consortium will be engaged in projects aimed at ensuring a favorable state of the environment, predicting climate change, restoring soil fertility and regenerating agricultural resources. The agenda of the association includes issues related to decarbonization of the agro-industrial complex (reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural industry), as well as carbon sequestration (technologies for injecting carbon dioxide into oil wells, coal quarries, the world ocean and underground lakes).
