Currently, the registration of school teams has been completed. This year, the Engineering League has expanded its boundaries. The Kuzbass participants of the case tournament were joined by schoolchildren from Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory), Novomoskovsk (Tula Region) and the Altai Republic.
41 teams of participants have already received the task. The theme of the Autumn cup of the educational project "REC SCHOOLS" is "Carbon landfill "Kuzbass". In the course of solving the case, young authors should analyze the prerequisites for the introduction of a regime of unfavorable meteorological conditions in the territory of the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass and the frequency of the introduction of this regime for 2020 - 2021, develop a geographical map of the region with the designation of sources of harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
Also, students will think over the technologies that scientists will carry out on the basis of the Kuzbass carbon landfill. Another task of the case is to suggest possible applications of such technologies at industrial enterprises of Kuzbass and Russia.
The finished solution of the case should be submitted for evaluation by the expert commission before 12:00 (Kemerovo time) on November 29, 2021. Teachers-curators and tutors of the tournament will help students. The qualifying stage of the Autumn Cup of the Kuzbass Engineering League will be held in absentia. The top 10 teams will be invited to defend their decisions in person in December 2021.
