In the second half of April, it is planned to hold the next stage of the strategic session of the world-class scientific and educational center "Engineering of the Future", which will be devoted to the development of a roadmap for the implementation of the REC activity program. In preparation for this event, it was especially valuable to receive comments from Alexander Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who took part in the online conference of the world-class REC "Engineering of the Future".
"Engineering of the Future" is the first REC, to which Alexander Mikhailovich gave his comments on the activity program. They were especially valuable on the eve of the strategic session, which will be held in Samara in the second half of April.
The conversation was about science and business, high technologies and education, regional authorities and youth policy.
Alexander Mikhailovich noted:
· The main source of funding for Russian science today is the budget. Private business invests only one third in the development of modern technologies. And the task of our REC is to reverse this scheme so that the main support comes from private owners. Business should understand that science is profitable and promising.
* REC "Engineering of the Future" should work even more actively in its key areas - aerospace, hydrogen fuel, smart agro - and at the federal level.
* The name "Engineering of the Future" fully corresponds to our dedication and effectiveness, and we quite reasonably took such an ambitious name. Alexander Mikhailovich promised our REC full support and invited us to a meeting in the walls of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also stated that the Russian Academy of Sciences needs our potential and our youth.
