The Interfax Agency, within the framework of the National University Rating project, presented the results of the Rating of the best educational programs on entrepreneurship of Russian universities.
Bashkir State University, a member of the world-class Eurasian REC, is the only representative of the higher education system of the Republic of Bashkortostan in this rating.
"It is necessary to create conditions for the realization of entrepreneurial talents during the educational process," says the rector of BashSU, Professor Nikolay Morozkin.— In my opinion, it is important to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship in universities, so the issue of organizing startups by our graduates is extremely relevant. A startup educates future entrepreneurs. This is necessary for both science and production. Science today really needs people who not only develop good projects, but are also able to bring them to practical implementation. From this point of view, a startup is an ideal option in order to train specialists who could be realized both as entrepreneurs and as scientists, that is, they could find themselves in any field. After all, when people know how to invest their time, effort, energy, knowledge, they will constantly try to improve life in their region."
Such a study of educational programs was conducted for the first time. Experts selected 85 leading universities in Russia that implement educational programs in the field of entrepreneurship. Four groups of respondents were also interviewed – university administrations (149 questionnaires were received), teaching staff (476 questionnaires), university graduates (145 questionnaires) and students (1400 questionnaires).
Based on these data, a methodology for evaluating programs was formulated. In total, the list of the best educational programs includes 21 bachelor's degree programs and 16 master's degree programs.
In addition, the study examined data on programs where graduation papers are held in the form of startups. By the end of 2020, students defended their diplomas in this way in more than 70 universities. The first line of this rating was taken by Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (1000 points). Synergy received 944 points and placed in the second position. The top five are completed by V.G. Timiryasov KIU (845), A.N. Kosygin Russian State University (732 points) and StavGAU (507 points).
Bashkir State University became one of the 20 leading universities implementing programs in which graduation papers are counted in the startup format, taking the 7th place among Russian higher education organizations awarded participation in the selection.
For example, the defense of the final qualifying work in the form of a startup aroused great interest among students of the Physics and Technology Institute of BASHGU, which has basic departments at enterprises and close ties with industrial partners in the educational and scientific fields. So, among the topics developed: "Modeling of fluid inflow in a layered low-permeable reservoir with poor connectivity of geological bodies", "Development of an application for determining and controlling employee geolocation for mobile devices based on Android OS", etc.
