Since July 15, Russian students have a unique opportunity to travel around the country and live on campuses and hostels of universities. The student tourism program will run until August 25. The student tourism program, developed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on behalf of President Vladimir Putin, involves 15 universities from 15 tourist attractive regions.
The development of the potential of scientific, educational and ecological tourism in Bashkortostan is provided by the projects of the Eurasian REC from the direction of "New Life Environment". Bashkir State University, as a member of the Eurasian REC, has developed a tourist route "Discovering Bashkiria" and became one of 15 universities participating in the program. The route developed by the university will last 6 days and 5 nights.
- Our task is to show students from other regions of Bashkortostan. Therefore, we have built the route in such a way that the children could not only enjoy the nature of the republic, but also understand the culture and life of the indigenous population - comments the vice-rector for educational and methodological work Azat Galimkhanov
The university will acquaint guests with the unique Bashkir nature. Travelers from other regions of Russia will see lakes, waterfalls and caves, go to the "ocean", more precisely, to the place where it was several million years ago, conquer the famous Shikhany and Aigir mountains. And after climbing the rocks, they will see the picturesque nature of the South Urals from a 379-meter height, hear local legends. The route also includes an acquaintance with Ufa and a walking tour of significant places of the city. Representatives of the tourist club of the university will act as guides.
The routes offered by universities as part of the student tourism development program are unique - they were developed with the participation of the students themselves.
Currently, more than 40 applications from students have been submitted to BashSU, including students of Tyumen State University, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Irkutsk State University, etc.
A more detailed program of routes, compiled by universities for organized groups of students, is posted on the official website of the project: studenttourism.rf.
