More than 40 young Kuzbass scientists joined the Scientific Landing project of the Kuzbass REC

Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Scientific and Educational Center "Kuzbass" opens a new season of the educational project "Scientific landing". 43 young researchers representing 6 universities (KemSU, KuzSTU named after T. F. Gorbachev, SibGIU, KemGIK, KuzGSHA, PRUE named after G. V. Plekhanov) and 2 research institutes (Research Institute of Complex Problems of Cardiovascular Diseases, Kemerovo Research Institute of Agriculture) with popular science lectures will visit 8 territories of the region.

From February 17 to 24, meetings with students of grades 8-11 will be organized on the basis of the centers of digital, natural, technical and humanitarian profiles "Point of Growth" in schools of Izhmorsky, Novokuznetsk, Promyshlennovsky, Prokopyevsky, Yaysky, Tashtagolsky, Topkinsky, Yashkinsky municipal districts.

34 popular science lectures were prepared in 11 areas: ecology, pedagogy, engineering, agriculture, career guidance in science, medicine, culture and art, mining, metallurgy, economics, food industry.

The audience will include more than 200 students aged 14-17 years. The aim of the project is to form students ideas about modern methods of scientific research in priority areas of scientific development in Kuzbass and Russia.

Recall that the first season of the project started in February last year as part of the program Days of Science in Kuzbass-2020. Then 20 scientists took part in it. Then, due to the introduction of restrictive measures, the project was transformed into a video format. Currently, 6 lectures are available for viewing on the website and YouTube channel of the REC "Kuzbass".
