Lobachevsky National State University, Andrey Lapshin, Rector of NNGASU, Sergey Dmitriev, Rector of R.E. Alekseev NSTU, as well as representatives of GAZ Group.
Within the framework of the two-day program, it was possible to visit N.I. Lobachevsky National Research University, where a tour of the site of the Center for Innovative Development took place, namely, an inspection of laboratories and acquaintance with projects that are being implemented within the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific and Educational Center (hereinafter - Nizhny Novgorod REC) of the world level. In addition, there was a meeting with the rector, as well as a meeting on cooperation between SibGIU and Nizhny Novgorod REC.
According to Elena Zagainova, SibGIU is an example of a classical national open university focused on the real sector of the economy, which trains metallurgists, IT specialists, economists, and even teachers in the field of higher and additional professional education.
"We came to Nizhny Novgorod as one of the world-class scientific and educational centers in Russia. Since the Nizhny Novgorod REC was created one of the first, then, of course, today there is a fairly large database of promising projects, the best of which were shared with us by colleagues from UNN. We got acquainted with the university, its rector, employees, and developments. The people who work here are professionals in their field. What we managed to see at the university is impressive," Alexey Yuryev shared after his visit to Lobachevsky University.
SibGIU representatives also visited Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (hereinafter - NNGASU), where they were able to get acquainted with the activities and work of the university and visit the laboratories, including a large acoustic chamber, in which research is carried out on projects included in the list of Nizhny Novgorod REC.
Another place of the visit was the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev, where there was also a rich program. In addition to the meeting with the rector, the guests were given a tour of the museum of the reference university, demonstrated the laboratory of membrane and catalytic processes, research laboratories of natural and man-made disasters and the basic laboratory "Reactor Hydrodynamics".
"During the visit, we shared with colleagues from SibGIU the experience of building interaction between REC participants, especially they showed interest in the issue of communications with enterprises and industrial partners. In addition, they expressed a desire to cooperate with industrial and production partners of the REC in such areas as metallurgy, mechanical engineering, environmental management," said Igor Fedyushkin, Director of the Nizhny Novgorod REC.
