Center-Invest Bank has announced a competition for solving the Sustainable Development Goals with a prize fund of 300,000 rubles. Everyone under the age of 35 can take part in the competition.
The competition program was based on the materials of the ESG-task book developed by a group of authors: the head of the CITR "Industrial coworking "Garage", PhD, associate professor Konstantin Timolyanov, Director of Innovation of the bank "Center-invest" Yuri Bogdanov and the head of educational projects of the bank Vladislav Salty. The task book "Sustainable Development Goals" allows you to get acquainted with the ESG agenda (see the help) and master modern information technologies.
The main goal of the competition is to organize initiative groups whose work will be aimed at achieving sustainable development goals.
– Participation in the competition is a great opportunity for students and schoolchildren familiar with IT technologies to get acquainted with the ESG agenda of sustainable development through solving tasks using digital technologies, such as big data analysis, development of machine learning and vision systems, - Konstantin Timolyanov noted. – Thanks to such events, it is possible to form and actively develop youth communities in the field of sustainable development.
The contest participants will have to solve one or more of the 35 cases of the ESG-task book, present their work, and also receive an expert assessment of the solution.
– The main mission of the contest is the development of analytical and critical thinking of participants, contributing to an in-depth study of the world through the prism of modern digital technologies. We want to help in the formation of social and environmental responsibility among young people," Vladislav Solenyi commented.
The organizers of the event are the bank "Center-invest" and the interregional scientific and educational center of the South of Russia, the coordinator of the competition is the Don State Technical University.
