Dmitry Chernyshenko met with young scientists of the Eurasian REC

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov met with young scientists, inventors and entrepreneurs of the world-class Eurasian REC in Ufa. The meeting was led by Senator from Bashkiria Lilia Gumerova.

The Federal Deputy Prime Minister noted that the scientific and educational environment of the region has received a powerful impetus to development in recent years.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that science will continue to be supported by the state. In particular, to create a comfortable environment for students, teachers, scientists — in a number of cities, educational centers will

campuses are being built, which will become a kind of "place of power". For 2023-2024, support for Russian RECs in the amount of 5 billion rubles is provided. The Deputy Prime Minister believes that the state should help bring the developments of young scientists to the market so that they can only do their work without being distracted by other things.

Federal and republican housing certificates are intended for the personal support of scientists, programs for the provision of office housing and housing and construction cooperatives are being created.

The procedure for obtaining state support for scientists will be significantly simplified on behalf of the president, Chernyshenko said.

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, thanked the federal center for its assistance in creating the REC.

"We have passed a very difficult path. Remember how we started? It was a very difficult process," the Head addressed the teachers. — We have formed a large scientific community, started participating in all programs. We have just looked at the works of university scientists, and there is something to be proud of.

Your task is to move science, ours is to support you. Despite all the difficulties, the republican budget for the current year for REC employees

allocates 200 million rubles for improving housing conditions and internships," Radiy Khabirov said.

The meeting continued in the format of questions and answers, scientists voiced their pressing problems, including the functioning of laboratories, databases

data and the disappeared opportunity to participate in foreign ratings. 900 scientific laboratories are to be created in Russia, which will be headed by

young scientists under the age of 30, recalled Dmitry Chernyshenko. To the last question, he replied that it was a "colonial dependency",

which is not to be regretted — the country will create its own rating systems, and horizontal ties with foreign science will still be

to act, the Deputy Prime Minister believes.

The REC staff also asked the Head of Bashkiria when the student campus would be commissioned.

"IQ Park should open its doors at the end of 2023, it will be a creative zone for students. The second stage of the campus is planned to be introduced at the end of 2025

a year," Radiy Khabirov replied.

"Surveys show that 80% of the population are proud of Russian science, and 64% of parents would like their children to be engaged in scientific activities. So you can consider that you justify the hopes," Dmitry Chernyshenko told the youth. Also, answering questions, he said that he met his love as a student. "And don't be afraid of anything, everything will be fine — boldly create families, give birth to children," the Deputy Prime Minister of Ufa scientists admonished.
