Cardiac surgeons of the clinic of the Research Institute of Complex Problems of Cardiovascular Diseases performed the first operation: mini-invasive coronary bypass surgery in a patient with coronary heart disease using the latest equipment – an endoscopic rack providing high-quality 4K imaging.

4K visualization allows you to form an image of the operating field of ultra-high definition and detail on the monitor. The surgeon receives visualization of all anatomical structures in a magnified form several times, forms a vascular suture virtually as under a microscope.

The operation was performed on a working heart through a small incision between the ribs (mini-thoracotomy). The applied technique ensures minimal injury, reduction of hospitalization time, rapid recovery. A week later, the operated patient was ready for discharge.

The first operation was performed by cardiac surgeon Kirill Kozyrin, Candidate of medical sciences, anesthesiologist-resuscitator Sergey Grokhotov, the patient was led by cardiologist Alina Khorlampenko, candidate of medical sciences.
