Scientific and practical publication of the CPSSZ Research Institute (participant of the KuZbass REC) assigned 3 and 4 quartiles (for 2021) in Scopus

The scientific and practical peer-reviewed journal "Complex problems of Cardiovascular Diseases", published by the Research Institute of the CPSSZ (Kemerovo), was assigned 3 and 4 quartiles (for 2021) in Scopus.

The journal has the highest rating of SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) and is listed first among Russian journals in these categories – 0.224.

Note that the SCImago Journal Rank evaluates the weighted number of citations received by a series of publications. The weighted citation score depends on the branch of knowledge and the prestige (SJR) of the quoting periodical.

The journal was created in 2012 as a base for the publication of articles by scientists of the CPSSZ Research Institute, as well as research by the best teams of research institutes and universities in Russia.

The publication is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Google scholar, eLibrary, RSE, Russian Science Citation Index and others. In 2021, he successfully passed the examination in the international database "Scopus" and became the 9th journal in the field of "Cardiology and cardiovascular Surgery", published in the territory of the Russian Federation, which will broadcast advanced scientific knowledge on the world stage.

The journal publishes materials reflecting a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases of the circulatory systems. The range of topics is quite wide, it also includes methodologies for quality management of medical care and epidemiology of non-communicable diseases. The permanent editor-in-chief of the journal is Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Leonid Semenovich Barbarash.
