The Oil University of the Eurasian REC entered the top three winners of the competition of acceleration programs of the federal project "Platform of University technological Entrepreneurship"

Ufa State Petroleum Technical University took the second place among Russian universities according to the results of the competitive selection of acceleration programs to support project teams and student initiatives for the formation of innovative products.

The competition was held within the framework of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship" with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The operator was an autonomous non-profit organization "Platform of the National Technological Initiative" (or abbreviated ANO "NTI Platform"). The universities had to confirm the experience of implementing acceleration programs, the ability to attract experts in the field of technological entrepreneurship and the availability of additional support measures from the university and attracted partners.

The USNTU working group developed the "Eurasian Acceleration Program", which was submitted to the competition. The Commission assessed the university's case by 94.4 points. Thus, the university took 2nd place among 83 universities in the country.

The "Eurasian Acceleration Program" of USPTU is aimed at ensuring the creation of startup projects in a short time and bringing them out

to a new level. This is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in bringing their own idea to a full-fledged product. Students will master modern methodologies and basic tools for product development, skills for generating ideas, forming proposals, etc.

Within the framework of the acceleration program, it is planned to hold about 50 events, implemented, among other things, using the Leader-ID information system, as well as the Projects information system of the autonomous non-profit organization University of National Technological Initiative 2035, to train 500 people under the acceleration program and create at least 125 startup projects.

The program consists of a number of activities: lectures, workshops, networking, meetings with mentors and experts in the field of technological entrepreneurship.

The program provides for the provision of a grant in the amount of over 7 million rubles, as well as co-financing from partners. The main key industrial partners of the "Eurasian Acceleration Program" of USNTU are OOO "Oil Automation", LLC "InPC

"Pilot", Scientific and Production "Blagzavod", LLC "Exit", PJSC "Transneft", PJSC "Gazprom Neft", LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Ufa", PJSC "SIBUR", PJSC "Rosneft", PJSC "Lukoil", LLC "OZNA", LLC "BASHURALTEHSERVIS", LLC "Packer", LLC "Bashnipineft", LLC "OZNA-Digital Solutions", "Eurasian Climate Consortium", including its participants, LLC "NIPI NG "PETON" and others.

Students and teachers now have the opportunity to receive support for the implementation of their ideas. The acceleration program is open to participants, startup creators and mentors, for business and production. The program is designed for the fall semester, the active phase for participants begins on October 1.

- The success of USNTU in the competition of acceleration programs is evidence of the university's systematic approach to the development of technological entrepreneurship, it is a high quality assessment of our work with youth startup projects.

Every year, about 100 USNTU students create their startup projects. In July 2022, USNTU entered the top 10 universities of the Russian Federation in the ranking by the number of winners of the "Student Startup" from the "Innovation Promotion Fund": university students received 12 grants of 1 million rubles. In 2021, 13 students of USNTU received funding for projects within the framework of the "UMNIK" project. The Master's program "Technological Entrepreneurship" has been opened and successfully implemented at the university. Since 2019, the "Startup as a Diploma" program has been running, within which 258 teachers have been trained under the "WRC as a Startup" program. During the first 3 years of the program, 124 works were performed in this format, and in 2022 - 74.In cooperation with strategic partners of USPTU, a whole pool of scientific and educational centers has been formed and operates: Rosneft – USNTU, Gazprom Neft – USNTU, LUKOIL – USNTU, Sibur – USNTU, centers of technological excellence in the following areas: hard-to-recover reserves, chemical network, robotics.

The new acceleration program will increase the number of student startups at USPTU, as well as bring many of them to successful implementation.
