REC "KuZbass" summed up the results of the intellectual property competition among schoolchildren

Today, the museum-reserve of the industrial history of Kuzbass "Krasnaya Gorka" hosted the presentation of awards to the winners and prize-winners of the intellectual property contest "I am proud of you, country: breakthrough domestic inventions".

The theme of the 2022 contest is the great inventions of Russian scientists. On the platform of the website of the world-class scientific and educational center "Kuzbass", schoolchildren were tested. Participants could also submit an essay, presentation or video on one of the four topics to the contest:

- "A Russian scientist of the 21st century, whose achievement I consider great";

- "A great achievement/development, first created by a Russian scientist";

- "What would I like to invent, what benefits would it bring to our country";

- "What invention of a Russian scientist I consider great."

The competition started on April 26 on the International Intellectual Property Day. Acceptance of works and access to online testing was open until May 15 inclusive. The results of the competition commission were summed up on June 1. The award ceremony took place today.

1st place was won by Polina Shabanova, a student of the 11th grade (Kemerovo, MBNOU "City Classical Lyceum"). The 2nd place was taken by Artur Kammerzel, a student of the 5th grade (Prokopyevsky MO, MBOU "Novosafonovskaya SOSH"). Konstantin Osipov, a 5th grade student (Belovo, MBOU Gymnasium No. 1), closed the top three winners. The special prize of the competition jury was awarded to Polina Vozhigova, a student of the 11th grade (Kemerovo Municipal District, the village of Yelykaevo, GBNOU "Governor's Women's Boarding School") for an essay about the mathematician Maxim Lvovich Kontsevich.

Director of the ANO "KuZbass Scientific and Educational Center" Natalia Petrik thanked the guys for their interest in the competition, congratulated them on their victory, presented memorable gifts with the symbols of the KuZbass REC and certificates to the electronics store. Also, a tour of the unique museum dedicated entirely to the development of mining, coal mining and the history of the formation of the Kuzbass industry was organized for the prize-winners and participants of the competition. Many of the exhibits presented have no analogues in the world, among them are samples of domestic mining equipment, full-size models, installations and the rarest photographs.

Recall that the competition was organized by ANO "KuZbass Scientific and Educational Center" with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kuzbass. Last year, such an intellectual and creative competition was organized for the first time. The contest was dedicated to great inventions for Earth and Space.
