Also in the program of the I Kuzbass Intellectual Forum: academic lectures and awarding of organizations-winners of the intellectual property competition "The best organization for the development of activities in the field of intellectual property".
It should be noted that in 2022, researchers of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass registered 84 patents for inventions, developed and implemented 35 innovative products, held 45 events and 2 intellectual property competitions. 603 researchers are involved in the projects of the REC "Kuzbass", while the proportion of young scientists (under the age of 39) it is 54%.

The Kuzbass Scientific and Educational Center systematically conducts activities aimed at implementing scientific projects and solving business environment issues. Every year, in order to promote the development of legal protection of the results of intellectual activity, a regional competition "The best enterprise for the organization of work in the field of intellectual property" is held, in which both scientific and educational organizations and business representatives take part. There are also regular events, seminars, round tables, and training on the subject of intellectual property.
There is a patent office at the ANO "Scientific and Educational Center "Kuzbass", which provides consulting services on patent and licensing activities. In 2021, a digital platform for scientific and technological interaction "Electronic Patent Office" was created, which allows you to get advice, assistance in filing applications for registration of rights to inventions, utility models, industrial designs, etc.
