The world-class REC "Russian Arctic" and JSC "United Engine Corporation" discussed the possibilities of joint work

Between C(A)M.V. Lomonosov Federal University and representatives of JSC United Engine Corporation held a working meeting on the implementation of projects in the direction of "Materials and technologies for shipbuilding and Marine Arctic equipment" within the framework of the world-class scientific and educational center "Russian Arctic: New materials, Technologies and research methods".

JSC United Engine Corporation is engaged in the development, implementation and further maintenance of gas turbine engines for military and civil aviation, space programs and the Navy, as well as in the oil and gas industry and energy. The organization is one of the largest suppliers in Russia, a large volume of products is exported. The priority direction of the corporation is the implementation of comprehensive programs for the development of enterprises in the industry with the introduction of new technologies that meet international standards.

Scientific director of the REC "Russian Arctic" Marat Yeseev spoke in detail about the activities of the scientific and educational center, focusing on those studies that may be of interest to future participants - JSC "United Engine Corporation".

During the discussion of further plans, the parties came to the conclusion about the possibility of cooperation between JSC "United Engine Corporation" and REC "Russian Arctic". One of the most priority and promising projects is joint work within the framework of technological projects of the scientific and educational center "Shipbuilding and Marine Arctic Technology" in terms of remote diagnostics of marine engines and other equipment and "Human activity in the Arctic". Also, JSC "United Engine Corporation" will be included in the list of participants of the REC.

Recall that three Arctic subjects of Russia participate in the work of the world-class REC "Russian Arctic": the Arkhangelsk Region, the Murmansk Region, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, partnerships with other subjects have been established. As part of the REC, 42 participants are leading universities, scientific and educational organizations and industrial enterprises of the country.
