At DSTU, aquaculture technology is being created using feed additives based on plant raw materials and probiotics of a new generation, developments in the field of aquaculture are being consistently implemented at the sites of the university's industrial partners. As part of a grant from the Russian Science Foundation, we are conducting research on the use of piezoactuators in the technology of low-temperature preservation of fish reproductive cells with intelligent control of the freezing process.

The Rector of DSTU also said that the university intends to develop an online course on industrial aquaculture together with the UNC RAS and open a new training area "Industrial Fishing".

Laboratories of scientific and educational institutions of the region will become the basis for the training of specialists and the implementation of scientific research. It is planned to attract a small scientific fleet of Russia for the study of reservoirs.

– In the conditions of water scarcity in the Southern macroregion, we proposed to the Minister to support the project "Ensuring environmental safety in the southern strategic direction in the face of climatic challenges and geopolitical, industrial impacts and natural disasters", developed by scientists of the UNC RAS.
