Perm REC will present developments for oil and gas companies in the Middle East at the ADIPEC exhibition

Perm REC "Rational Subsoil Use" as part of the joint stand of the Perm Region takes part in the 25th International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference ADIPEC 2022 (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference).

ADIPEC – one of the largest events of the Middle East oil industry – is held in the capital of the UAE and opens up opportunities for meeting and cooperation of more than 2.2 thousand exhibitors, 12 thousand conference delegates and more than 150 thousand visitors from 28 countries. This year the exhibition runs from October 31 to November 3. Its theme was the future of energy, its security, accessibility and sustainability.

In addition to the scientific and educational center, more than 10 companies and organizations developing modern equipment, technological and IT solutions for the oil and gas and petrochemical industries are represented at the stand of the region. Participation in ADIPEC is part of the strategic efforts of the region to develop the export potential of enterprises and scientific companies of the Perm Region.

"The key task of the regional government is to help all companies as much as possible. And, according to experts, despite everything

difficulties, volumes of export supplies of the region today, in comparison with the same period last year, have practically remained", –

noted the governor of the Perm Region Dmitry Mahonin.

REC participants and partners presented at the exhibition a number of solutions in the field of improving the efficiency of oil production, transportation and refining. One of such developments is a dynamic simulator of multiphase flows. This is the first Russian software for modeling and creating a digital twin of mining processes, a mobile crawler application that allows you to manage tasks and monitor the safety of field personnel.

The SCADA system-the Solar Oil system – is completely domestic software for collecting, processing, displaying and archiving information about the monitoring and management object in real time. At the stand, you can get acquainted with wireless data transmission technologies and autonomous sensors for oil and gas production and transportation facilities.

In addition, the guests of the exhibition are presented with a mobile installation for the preparation of borehole products, which allows you to select

the most effective modes of thermochemical dewatering and desalination of oil directly in the field. Another project is block

a cluster separation unit that separates and disposes of water raised with oil during production, thereby reducing the cost of pumping useless liquid to oil refining stations.

"In 2021, we participated in this exhibition for the first time, studied the interest of Middle Eastern countries, the actual tasks that oil workers in this region solve.

Therefore, in 2022 we offer advanced developments, primarily IT solutions and digital technologies that either successfully compete with foreign analogues, or are unique in their kind," said Pavel Ilyushin, Director of the ANO REC "Rational Subsoil Use".
