Perm Scientific and Educational Center "Rational Subsoil Use" as part of the joint stand of the Perm Region takes part in the 24th International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU 2022". The REC will present to the enterprises of the republic a number of intelligent solutions in the field of production management, increasing the return of wells, organizing the work of oil and gas workers.
The exhibition takes place in Tashkent from May 18 to May 20. According to the organizers, more than 100 companies from far and near abroad, including from the regions of Russia, participate in it.
The products of about 30 companies of the region were presented at the joint stand of the Perm Region. The delegation of the region was headed by the Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Mahonin. Within the framework of the exhibition, meetings and presentations were held for Uzbekneftegaz, LUKOIL Uzbekistan, Uztransgaz and Uzbekugol. In addition, meetings were held with representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Investments of Uzbekistan, as well as the embassies of Azerbaijan and Italy. Meetings with Gazprom International, Uzmetkombinat and others are planned.
"During the visit to the Perm REC of the Consul of Uzbekistan in Kazan, we discussed promising areas of cooperation. For example, the development of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves. Due to depletion of reserves and technological losses, the production of hydrocarbons in the republic has decreased in recent years. Another area that we discussed was the training of students from Uzbekistan in REC participating universities. During the exhibition, we expect to discuss in more detail cooperation in both directions with enterprises of Uzbekistan," said Pavel Ilyushin, Director of the REC.
