In 2022, the regional stand of Bashkortostan with an area of 580 sq. m. m has become one of the largest on the SPIEF site after Moscow and St. Petersburg. It includes several functional and thematic zones. The central object is a digital yurt, where you can get acquainted with Bashkortostan and its key projects in various industries, including anniversary construction projects for the 450th anniversary of Ufa. A zone of the Republic's Control Center, a meeting room stylized as a Ka-32 helicopter of Kumertau production were also installed at the stand. One of the key events at the SPIEF site was the presentation of the interuniversity campus of the world-class Eurasian REC.
Within the framework of SPIEF 2022, Radiy Khabirov discussed the prospects for the construction of an Interuniversity campus in Ufa with the leadership of the VEB State Corporation.RF
– This is one of the most important scientific and educational projects for Bashkortostan, - said Radiy Khabirov. – It was the activities of the REC and the creation of the United University on the basis of Ufa universities that allowed the campus project to receive the support of the Russian Government. Ufa was chosen as one of eight sites for the placement of such large-scale facilities. We plan to build a campus in the historical center of the city."
The complex of residential, educational, laboratory, administrative buildings and public spaces is designed for a one-time accommodation of 5,000 masters, postgraduates and research and teaching staff. At the first stage, it is planned to reconstruct the building of the Ufa IQ Park, the concept of which was developed by the Skolkovo Foundation. This is a multi-storey building that will house business zones, startup centers, as well as an IT technopark, exhibition and business zones. The second stage provides for the construction of residential buildings, classrooms, laboratories, a genomic center, as well as public and business spaces.
Advisor to the Head of the Republic of Belarus on Science Ruslan Kazykhanov told the Senior Vice President of VEB.RF on the progress of implementation and technical characteristics of the project.
Recall that in accordance with the Decree of the Russian Federation No. 1268 dated July 28, 2021 "On the implementation of a project to create an innovative educational environment (Campuses) using PPP mechanisms and concession agreements within the framework of the federal project "Development of Infrastructure for Scientific Research and Training" of the national project "Science and Universities" State Development Corporation VEB.The Russian Federation performs the functions of an agent of the Government of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the project on the creation of interuniversity campuses.
