Let's talk about the fact that Russian innovators today are under the rule of two cargo cults, which can be called the "Scientific Council" and

"The Great Gatsby."

The creation of scientific papers for the praise of colleagues or the endless attendance of business meetings and meetups to the detriment of real work on the implementation of the idea not only hinder the development of a startup, but also become the main problems of a young researcher.

It is impossible to get rid of them by reading textbooks or attending lectures. In addition, such installations are beneficial to the modern system of technological dictates of the unipolar world and have permeated all layers of society. A quick transition to practice, the creation of a prototype, as well as its scientific validation and the collection of feedback help to get rid of cargo cults. It is this practical approach that allows students to move on to research-oriented effective work.

In the lecture, Professor Dmitry Kulish will share ten years of experience in teaching innovation, including the experience of conducting intensive thirty-day bootcamps at Skoltech. Dmitry has been leading Skoltech's Startup Funnel for many years and has a unique experience of inspiring and guiding students on the path of innovation.
