Managing Director of PJSC UEC-UMPO Evgeny Semivelichenko said that training at the training center is organized according to the dual education system: theory takes about 30 percent of the time, and 70 percent is given to practice. The new equipment is used both in training programs for young professionals and in the production process.
- Professional training programs have been developed taking into account the best European experience. We plan to produce about 2,000 skilled workers a year for the enterprises of the UEC and other plants of the Rostec State Corporation operating in the republic," explained Yevgeny Semivelichenko.
The Production and Training Center of Rostec State Corporation is a response to the growing need of mechanical engineering for specialists of working professions. UMPO is the largest platform of the UEC, which employs more than 24 thousand people. The company creates all conditions for the residents of the republic to be able to study, become in-demand specialists and be employed at the leading industrial enterprise in the region.
On September 1, the first set of students - 331 people - started classes in the production and training center in several directions at once. They are mainly students of the Ufa Engineering College and the Ufa Aviation Technical School.
– In recent years, we have also been paying great attention to the creation of resource centers on the basis of technical schools and vocational schools. The Ufa Center was created under a large industrial association. We travel a lot around the world, studying other experiences. I can say that a world-class center has been created in Ufa, it should be done exactly like this. The most important thing is that this enterprise will never have problems with personnel and professional level–" said Rustam Minnikhanov. - Cadres decide everything today. We also have plans to implement such a joint project with Rostec. There are helicopter and aviation plants and the KAMAZ machine-building giant operating in Tatarstan.
