Roman Kondratiev, a master's student at the Oil University of the Eurasian REC, became a laureate of the All-Russian competition "Young Scientist"

The title of laureate of the All-Russian competition "Young Scientist 2021" was awarded to Roman Kondratiev, a master's student of the Faculty of Technology of Ufa Petroleum University. The topic of his work: "Jet devices with vortex devices in the processes of preparation and processing of oil and petroleum products."

The Presidium of the Russian Engineering Academy expressed gratitude to Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas Technology, Doctor of Technical Sciences Georgy Sidorov, scientific supervisor of the Novel, for the assistance provided in the preparation of research work.

The contestant has been working on the topic for 2 years. The results of his research work have been tested at the enterprise and have industrial implementation.

In total, 164 undergraduates from more than 30 Russian universities took part in the annual Ivan Fedorov Young Scientist competition. 14 of them were awarded the title of "Laureate".

Each candidate was evaluated according to the following criteria: the relevance and scientific novelty of the research, the number of scientific articles and participation in conferences, competitions, scientific seminars, Olympiads, grants, etc.

The competition was attended by research works of young scientists (bachelors, undergraduates, postgraduates, candidates of sciences) who are not more than 35 years old. The competition topics included more than 40 scientific and technical areas.
