SibGIU (participant of the REC "Kuzbass" and the university of Gorlovka signed a cooperation agreement

The rector of SibGIU Alexey Yuryev and the director of the Automobile and Road Institute of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Donetsk National Technical University" Roman Zaglada signed an agreement on partnership and cooperation between universities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Temlyantsev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Sergey Konovalov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Evgeny Zernin and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs Olga Gutak and other scientists SibGIU.

The signing of the document expands the opportunities of universities in the field of education and science. Within the framework of the agreement, cooperation between the parties is planned, in particular, the exchange of scientific and educational innovations, joint scientific events, and the exchange of delegations.

The Automobile and Road Institute of DNTU began its existence on August 9, 1959. For more than 60 years of its history, it has turned into a modern university, in which most of the teachers have academic degrees of doctors and candidates of sciences. Currently, the Gorlovka Institute is an educational and scientific center of the automobile and road industry for the training of bachelors, specialists and masters in transport, construction, environmental and economic areas. In general, the university can train more than 3 thousand highly qualified specialists at the same time.

The training is conducted in seven specialties: automobiles and automotive industry; organization and regulation of traffic; organization of transportation and management of road transport; management of organizations; economic cybernetics; construction and operation of highways and airfields; ecology and environmental protection.
