The meeting on preparation for the cycle of joint design and analytical sessions was held by representatives of the Ural Interregional (UMNOC) and West Siberian (ZapSibNOC) world-class centers. This is the first of the events, the thematic areas of which were discussed at the Ural Federal University (UrFU, Yekaterinburg), will take place this half-year.
It is expected that the session participants will discuss the development of joint educational projects and products, forms of scientific work and the formation of rules for participation in common projects, as well as rules for cooperation in the use of infrastructure of universities and academic institutions.
"It remains important to develop cooperative ties within the framework of the implementation of technological projects of the REC between all its participants: universities, enterprises and representatives of regional authorities," said Evgeny Gurari, Assistant to the Presidential Envoy to the Ural Federal District. — The educational component of the centers is also becoming no less relevant: here special attention should be paid to training personnel and attracting students to work in youth laboratories."
Evgeny Gurari separately noted the increased importance of interaction between the two RECs operating in the district.
In addition to the employees of UrFU, SUSU, KSU and TSU involved in the work of the two RECs, representatives of the ministries of the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions took part in today's meeting. It was also possible to discuss aspects of the development of tools for the protection and commercialization of intellectual property objects, as well as the results of projects.
UMNOC Development Director Igor Manzhurov recalled that the meeting was held thanks to the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the center, Presidential Envoy of Russia Vladimir Yakushev on the initiative of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
