Tula Region and ANO "Russia - Land of Opportunities" develop cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence

This decision was made within the framework of a working meeting in the format of videoconference with Anton Serikov, Deputy Director General of the ANO “Russia - the Land of Opportunities”. It is planned to develop a "road map", which will become a strategic plan for the effective development of cooperation between the Tula region and breakthrough projects of the presidential platform of the ANO "Russia - the country of opportunities".

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tula region:

- Chairman of the Tula Region Committee on Science and Innovation Anton Emelianenko;

- Denis Gusev, General Director of ANO REC "TulaTECH";

- and about. rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tula State University" Oleg Kravchenko;

- Rector of ANO DPO "Higher Technical School" Dmitry Algazin;

- Head of the Research Laboratory "Mathematical Modeling of Technical Systems" of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy "Alexander Privalov;

- Director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, head. Department of Information Security Alexey Sychugov;

- Vice-rector for strategic development of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tula State University" Oksana Ostashko.

The main topic of the workshop is the development of artificial intelligence in the Tula region. This is one of the key areas of the country's technological development. Digital capabilities allow you to quickly and accurately process huge amounts of data, which ensures the speed of information processing, quality and efficiency.

To promote and develop artificial intelligence events, as well as to involve IT developers in a digital project, the possibility of holding a hackathon in the Tula region will be worked out. The hackathon is a unique opportunity for IT professionals to gather on one platform, exchange experience and create breakthrough projects with colleagues from other regions. Subsequently, developments can become commercially successful world-class projects.

As a reminder, at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, 2021 was declared the Year of Science and Technology. The Tula region is one of the regions that actively implements activities within the framework of the Science and Universities national project. One of the main goals of the national project is to ensure the attractiveness of work in Russia for Russian and foreign leading scientists and young promising researchers.
