REC participants and partners introduced Uzbekneftegaz specialists to environmental developments

A delegation of employees of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, at the invitation of LUKOIL-Perm LLC (a partner of the Perm REC), visited enterprises and scientific and educational organizations of the region as part of a thematic visit "Ecology in the oil and gas industry, problematic issues and ways to solve them."

The program included a visit to the LUKOIL-Perm CDNG. In particular, the oilmen of Uzbekistan visited the V. P. Sukharev field, where they got acquainted with

features of well construction and production management in the conditions of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit. The delegation also visited the production of LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez, one of the most modern Russian enterprises for the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, as well as the site of microbiological neutralization of oily waste of LLC "Nature–Perm".

In addition, Uzbekneftegaz employees got acquainted with the scientific and educational activities of Perm University and Perm Polytechnic University (PSNIU and PNRPU, both participants of the Perm REC).

So, at PSNIU, the guests visited the laboratories of biotesting and environmental information systems. In PNRPU, the delegation visited the faculty

chemical Technologies, Industrial Ecology and Biotechnology and at the Department of Environmental Protection.

At the end of the four-day visit, Uzbekneftegaz specialists got acquainted with the Perm REC "Rational Subsoil Use". They were presented with the laboratory complex and the areas of work of the REC, including priority scientific and technological projects to improve the efficiency of extraction of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves.

A seminar was also held at the REC site, where scientists from Perm Polytechnic University made a number of reports. It was about modern methods of wastewater treatment and reuse of treated wastewater, advanced technologies for neutralization of emissions into the atmosphere. In addition, modern and effective methods of recycling production waste were discussed.

The experience of interaction with scientific and educational organizations of Uzbekistan also became a significant topic. In the spring of 2022, Perm Polytechnic University and Bukhara College of Oil and Gas Industry signed a cooperation agreement that will create a unified system of continuous training of oil and gas industry specialists at the level of secondary vocational and higher education. The cooperation involves the development and implementation of a multi–level education program for students from Uzbekistan - they will be able to continue their studies in the specialty at PNRPU in a reduced time.

In addition, thanks to the successful system of integration of industrial partners into the educational process, a system of training young specialists is being implemented on the basis of REC in accordance with the requirements of the Industry 4.0 paradigm.

These are lectures, master classes and teleconferences with the participation of specialists and managers of enterprises, a mentoring system, training students according to individual trajectories, involving them in scientific, practical and research activities, as well as further employment of graduates.

Recall that in June, a delegation of engineers and technical specialists of Uzbekneftegaz visited the Perm REC at the invitation of LUKOIL-Perm LLC.
