Scientists of the Eurasian REC are undergoing a scientific internship at Tomsk Polytechnic University

The scientific internship of young scientists of the Eurasian REC takes place in Tomsk. Scientists will learn how to effectively manage educational products and discuss the development, launch and promotion of new educational programs.

The Competence Development Center of the world-class Eurasian REC has sent 30 young scientists for a week-long internship at the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University.

The internship program will provide an opportunity for our young researchers to discuss current problems and development prospects with experts the modern educational agenda.

Scientists of the Eurasian REC will master modern approaches to the design of educational programs, including taking into account the interests of industrial partners.

During the week-long internship, researchers will be able not only to adopt the best practices in the interaction of Tomsk universities with industrial partners, but also effective mechanisms for implementing R&D in the educational activities of the university.

Tomsk experts shared their experience of conducting a foresight session with an industrial partner represented by a large corporation "Digital energy in the oil and gas industry".

Together with the REC scientists, specialized master's degree programs were reviewed, relevant educational programs were presented TPU programs.

Using the example of cooperation with the Rosatom State Corporation, experts shared examples of the export of education: foreign students are trained in nuclear programs on the basis of Tomsk Polytechnic University.

The tight schedule of the scientific internship provides for work in groups where scientists develop new, relevant approaches to the implementation of modern educational programs and project-based learning. The ideas of our scientists, at the same time, are projected on the creation of new educational products in the universities of the Eurasian REC.

New programs will not just have to be written – it is important to create an economic model with an assessment of the target audience and the possible result from the introduction of a new educational program. The main thing in the current conditions is to get a new educational product that is capable of rapid adaptation and response to the requests of not only students and teachers, but also industrial partners. Our interns will have to defend the projects of educational programs before by experts of Tomsk University. "Tomsk is a city with an increased concentration of universities, research institutes and students, a city with great scientific traditions. Why does the internship take place at Tomsk Polytechnic University? Everything is simple - TPU university with a large number of educational programs, including additional ones. The University actively uses the world experience of scientific and educational activities in its programs and projects, university specialists conduct serious scientific research.

Our colleagues are interested in such an experience of introducing new, flexible educational products to universities. Of course, we are discussing those programs that can be integrated into the educational activities of universities of the Eurasian REC," said Sofia Saifullina, head of the Central Research Center of the REC management company
