In 2022, Rospatent registered 16 programs for electronic computers created at this institute. Among them is a simulator of flexible tubing (GNKT) "RN-VECTOR", the module of express assessment of oil and gas facilities of the information system "RN-KIN" and the software package for the interpretation of geophysical studies of wells "RN-PETROLOG".
All these developments are included in the corporate line of high-tech software (software) of Rosneft. In total, the line includes 23 software products, 10 of which are sold on the foreign market.
The company uses its own software to solve production tasks in the field of geology, design, development and operation of deposits.
The simulator "PH-VECTOR" is used for mathematical modeling and analysis of technological operations with the use of GNKT.
"At present, effective oil and gas production is not conceivable without the use of CNG. With the help of flexible pipes, many technological operations are carried out in the fields. The effectiveness and safety of such operations depends on detailed modeling of all processes. Therefore, Rosneft develops its own engineering competencies in this area and creates domestic solutions for modeling. This is especially relevant in connection with the new sanctions restrictions and the lack of the possibility of updating foreign software," comments the Deputy Director General for Technology development and innovation of "RN-BashNIPIneft" Maxim Volkov.
Guided by modern trends and requests from customers, the specialists of "RN-BashNIPIneft" last year supplemented "RN-VECTOR" with the possibilities of modeling work in wells with abnormally low reservoir pressure, calculation of hydraulic characteristics for attachments and a number of other works. Subsidiaries have already switched to 100% use of the corporate simulator.
Another new unique development of Ufa scientists is the module of express assessment of oil and gas facilities. The module was integrated into the digital environment for monitoring, analysis and design of the development of the RN-KIN deposits, also created at RN-BashNIPIneft and widely used by Rosneft enterprises.
