Scientists of FRC UUH SB RAS (participant of REC "Kuzbass") during an archaeological expedition to the area of Lake Bolshaya Lozhka discovered a number of unique finds

Kuzbass archaeological expedition of the Federal Research Center of Coal and Coal Chemistry SB RAS under the leadership of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Bobrov and Candidate of Historical Sciences Alexei Marachkin near Lake Bolshaya Lozhka (Vengerovsky District of the Novosibirsk Region) discovered fragments of ceramic vessels, objects of the stone industry, among them unique finds for area: arrowhead, concave knife, chisel. The artifacts will be studied and subsequently will become part of the exposition of the Center for the Preservation of Archaeological Collections of the FRC UUH SB RAS.

The detachment has been carrying out archaeological work at the Old Moscow Trakt-5 monument since 2016. During this time, finds of the Early and Late Neolithic, Early Metal and Early Iron Age were obtained.

Students of the Institute of History and International Relations of the KemSU (organized by the Kuzbass REC) take part in the work of the expedition.
