The powers of the Governing Council include monitoring the execution of the center's project portfolio.
Over the past year, the activities of the world-class scientific and educational center "Innovative solutions in agriculture" have expanded. Moreover, as in territorial terms, our neighbors entered the Belgorod REC: Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga regions. So it is in the content: the environmental agenda of the Belgorod REC has been developed:
at the regional competition, several interesting projects were selected and included in the REC portfolio – projects for breeding new Quinoa crops in the conditions of the Belgorod region, several projects on the use of artificial intelligence in the care of animals and plants, biotechnology in the field of animal husbandry.
the concept of the project aimed at correcting the hydrobiocenosis of the aquatic environment and rational water use of the Belgorod region has been developed;
A project on decembronization of the regional economy was initiated as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 program.
Representatives of seven world-class scientific and educational centers immersed in environmental topics were attracted to the environmental platform of the Belgorod REC (this year the Belgorod International Environmental Forum was held for the first time) for further joint research.
One of the issues on the agenda will be the adjustment of the REC project portfolio.
Also at today's meeting, members of the Governing Council will get acquainted with the new methodology for assessing world-class volunteers, which will be applied by the Council of World-class Scientific and Educational Centers and the Government of the Russian Federation in 2022 when allocating federal grant funds.
