A specialized laboratory of unmanned aerial vehicles has been opened at the Agrarian University of the Eurasian REC

Bashkir State Agrarian University has signed an agreement with the Ufa Educational and Methodological Center of Small Aviation on cooperation in training personnel for secondary vocational education and advanced training of teachers, masters of the university.

"Working with drones is promising for use in various fields of activity. A cluster on aviation topics, work with unmanned systems, and small aircraft has been created in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Our university trains specialists in the field of "operation of unmanned aircraft systems" according to the programs of SPO, said the rector of BASHGAU Ildar Gabitov.

A specialized laboratory of unmanned aerial vehicles was opened at the Department of Real Estate Cadastre and Geodesy. The laboratory houses an office for the assembly and commissioning of Geonics quadrocopters, as well as a flight area for demonstration exams.

Bashgau bought the first drone ten years ago. Modern systems are becoming more and more relevant in agriculture, they allow you to create electronic maps of fields, organize forest monitoring. With the help of drones, scientists of the Agrarian University also plan to assess emissions of harmful substances, the so-called carbon footprint into the atmosphere, as part of a project to create a carbon landfill.

Sergey Minigulov, head of the Ufa Training and Methodological Center of Small Aviation, in turn, noted the importance of developing small aviation together with the technologies of the unmanned industry.

Bashkortostan is considered as a pilot region for the creation of a "Center for the production of civilian drones for use in agriculture."
