In Arkhangelsk, participants of the forum "Development of the Russian Arctic" exchanged experience in the development of REC

The discussion of the implementation of REC programs and evaluation of their effectiveness took place within the seventh section of the forum. The participants of the meeting presented the best practices and experience of interaction.

Despite the fact that the tasks assigned to scientific and educational centers by the state are of a general nature, each REC chooses its own solutions based on regional specifics.

- The West Siberian REC has focused on the development of human capital, Tulatech - on investments in new laboratories. The Kuzbass REC believes that the core of their scientific and technical program is a project office," the moderator of the section, Vice-rector for Innovative Development of NARFU, scientific director of the world-class REC "Russian Arctic" Marat Yeseev summed up the discussion. - There are many practitioners and I am glad that they are successful.

The main challenge is the lack of coordination in the planning and implementation of interregional projects, which today stands before all scientific and educational centers, Anna Popova, Director of the ANO "Arctic Element Project Office" from Murmansk, outlined at the end of the meeting:

"Indicators digitize the result. It is difficult to create a plan on the territory of one region, and when it is distributed over several, it is even more difficult. There are many areas of work, but organizational and methodological support of the REC work can be carried out in a separate block. Without this, it will be difficult for everyone. The sooner we formulate it, the sooner we will get the result that we have planned."
