Young scientists, students and schoolchildren of the republic presented their vision of the development and transformation of Science and Education in the region at the plenary session in the final presentations.
The young guys were heard by the leaders: Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexander Sidyakin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Culture, Education and Science Lilia Gumerova, Adviser to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Science Issues Ruslan Kazykhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Azat Badranov.
The main guest of the event was Elena Shmeleva, co-chairman of the All-Russian Popular Front, head of the Sirius educational center.
The head of the region said that Bashkiria is systematically engaged in capacity building, the development of science and higher education.
“Our key vector is participation in large-scale federal projects in the field of science. I believe that if we do not set ourselves ambitious tasks, we will not go beyond the existing, albeit rather high, level. The victory of the Eurasian REC in the federal competition made it possible for the republic to become more noticeable on the map of science. We must continue to take part in the most ambitious projects - this will help us to solve the strategic task aimed at the development of the region. Our REC partners are the largest enterprises and leading universities of the republic. We see the first results at the Eurasian REC. And now our main task is to stop the outflow of young talents and attract them to scientific work. We are at the beginning of a long journey: we are strengthening the material base, developing appropriate measures of state support for young scientists, students and schoolchildren, "commented Radiy Khabirov.
Radiy Khabirov called our next transformation of education and science the participation of the region's universities in the program of strategic academic leadership "Priority-2030".
Elena Shmeleva noted that there are many talented practicing teachers and gifted youth in the republic.
“In the modern world, it is necessary to pay attention to the systematic work, thanks to which to reach young children for training in joint
educational programs become easier. Many guys then come to science. It is good that such systematic work is being carried out in Bashkortostan. Creation of scientific and educational centers: this is a unique opportunity for the modern transformation of Science and education, for involving young children in science, because REC projects solve urgent problems, "said Elena Shmeleva.
In their presentations, the young guys talked about how, in their opinion, students and talented schoolchildren can be involved in scientific activities.
The participants in the strategic session developed roadmaps in which they indicated the need to develop effective measures to support young scientists, reorganize existing laboratory facilities and create a new modern infrastructure. The guys especially noted the importance in increasing the popularity of the profession of a scientist and interest in scientific knowledge - over the past few years, according to students, attention to the scientific component has dropped.
Young scientists drew the experts' attention to the compulsory development of lifelong education “school-university-enterprise”, as well as the possibility of young children having access to scientific infrastructure.
“The task of the Eurasian REC is to combine efforts, human and infrastructural resources for the creation of technologies and their implementation in the economy of the region.
