The competition was held in five directions: "Agrobots", "AgroCopters", "AgroKosmos", "AgroMeteo" and "AgroBio".
Agrocopter control complexes were deployed at thematic sites, agrobot models, modern navigation and meteorological equipment were presented. Under the guidance of teachers and specialists of the Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy, schoolchildren received practical training in the selected areas: they controlled quadrocopters, got acquainted with the use of robots in agriculture, studied the possibilities and applications of aerial photography at enterprises of the agricultural sector, learned to make forecasts, determine the composition of soil and diagnose plant diseases. They also got acquainted with the basics of landscape design, food chemistry and even learned how to milk cows.
"The AgroNTI-2021 platform in the Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy provides a unique opportunity to prove yourself, show knowledge, find new opportunities and acquaintances. Kuzbass schoolchildren are the future of our region and the country," commented Sergey Pfetzer, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kuzbass.
From September 2021, finals will be held, in which the Laureates of the full-time regional stages will take part at three federal venues. The final conference will be held in December.
"AgroNTI-2021" is held by the Innovation Promotion Foundation together with the Association of Agricultural and Fishing Educational Institutions for schoolchildren from rural areas. Thanks to the competition, any student of a rural school can study advanced technologies: robots, quadrocopters, space technologies, digital weather stations and biotechnologies.
