The situation is complicated and requires social responsibility from each of us.

Olga Barbarash spoke about the experience of the CPSSZ Research Institute in a difficult period, stressing that the vaccination of employees, which currently stands at 95%, was an example of the accumulation of collective immunity. Since the beginning of the year, not a single case of severe illness has been registered in the team.

She noted that vaccination is the first in the list of 10 achievements of healthcare in the XX century and today it is the only way to avoid death from a new coronavirus infection.

Vasily Kashtalap presented information about the cardiovascular complications of the new coronavirus infection – one of the leading manifestations of postcovid syndrome. He emphasized that people over the age of 60 have fatal complications of COVID-19 in 90% of cases due to diseases of the circulatory system.
