The West Siberian Testing Center (JSC "Zsicenter") has completed the development of four new state standard samples of coal grades: "G" gas (GSO 11908-2022), "D" long-flame (GSO 11909-2022), "A" anthracite (GSO 11910-2022), "OS" thinned sintering (GSO 11911-2022). The obtained classification parameters were entered by Rosstandart into the database of GSO (state standard samples) of Russia. The expansion of the list of domestic GSO coals contributes to the solution of import substitution issues in providing the country's coal chemical laboratories with standard samples.
The characteristics recorded as standards include indicators of ash content, mass fraction of total sulfur, higher heat of combustion, yield of volatile substances, mass fraction of phosphorus and hydrogen.
GSO of the composition and properties of coals are used as standards by all industrial and scientific laboratories of the country to assess the properties of the quality of raw materials to determine the directions of its application. Also, state standard samples of coals are used to check the quality of the equipment of industrial laboratories, testing calibration characteristics.
The West Siberian Testing Center is a large multidisciplinary accredited testing center in Russia engaged in the development of GSO for quality control of the results of analysis of ores, coals, coke, ash and slag waste and products of their processing.
Currently, JSC "Zsicenter" is a developer and manufacturer of 19 state standard samples (GSO).
