
The festival "Pushkin Meetings" for foreign students of Kuzbass universities has ended
A festival dedicated to the cultural heritage of Russia has ended at Kemerovo State Medical University. The participants of the event were foreign students from six universities of Kuzbass. The event was designed to unite foreign students of Kuzbass universities around a common interest in the Russian language, culture, history of Russia and its modernity.
At the seminar "How we discover Pushkin" students from India and Tajikistan made presentations on the life and work of Russian poets and writers. Students also submitted drawings on the theme "The Russian world in the works of Pushkin" to the competition.
The final event of the festival was the readers' competition "Enchantment with Pushkin's verse". Students from China, India, Egypt, Tajikistan and Belarus read excerpts from the lyrical works of Russian poets. All those present were able to appreciate the greatness and uniqueness of Russian works.
The expert jury selected 6 winners. Among the best are foreign students of Kemerovo State Medical University, Kemerovo State Institute of Culture, Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy, Siberian State Industrial University, students from the preparatory department of the Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev. Participants whose works were awarded with incentive prizes were also identified.
All participants of the Pushkin Meetings festival received an annual subscription to the materials of the Russian as a Foreign Language platform from the partner of the competition – the Ai Pi Ar Media Company LLC.
Recall that the organizers of the festival were the REC "Kuzbass" and Kemerovo State Medical University. The co-organizers are higher educational institutions of the region with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kuzbass. The partner of the festival is the company "AI Pi Ar Media" LLC.
