A new process visualization tool — dashboards of key performance parameters (KPIs) - has been introduced in large-capacity workshops of KAO Azot as part of the development of projects to improve operational efficiency of production. The graphical tool is designed to optimize the control of technological personnel over the main parameters of production.
Dashboards are designed for employees of five 5 large-capacity workshops-ammonia-1, ammonia-2, No. 13 (ammonium nitrate), No. 15 (nitric acid), and urea workshops that manage the technological process. The new tool allows you to keep the key parameters that have the greatest impact on product development and production costs in the optimal mode.
The project is an internal development of the company. The potential economic effect of implementing the tool will be about 200 million rubles.
Efficiency dashboards are another step towards improving the operational efficiency of the production activities of the largest chemical enterprise outside the Urals.
