Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences and curator of the REC "Innovative Solutions in agriculture" Ekaterina Zhuravleva visited Secondary School No. 3 in the city of Builder, where she held a lecture for high school students.
The main purpose of the lecture was to popularize science and scientific knowledge among high school students and their orientation to building a successful career in the field of science. In her speech "Modern trends in the development of agrobiology" Ekaterina Vasilyevna touched upon such areas as city farming, genetics and plant breeding, the development of agricultural science. In addition, she told the students about the activities of the Belgorod world-class Scientific and Educational Center and drew special attention of high school students to the possibility of realizing their potential and participating in project activities under the guidance of Belgorod scientists.
At the end of the event, Ekaterina Zhuravleva answered questions and held a short master class for the participants of the lecture on the elements of working with breeding material.
